My Journey
I started off by preparing invoices and recording payments for a local butcher shop on the Eyre Peninsula and spending my weekends balancing registers and self-serve tills before the opening hours of a local retail store.
Then, I commenced my first full-time role in a rural accounting firm, building my way up from Reception to a Junior Accountant role. This is where I recognised a clear pattern in the types of roles I genuinely enjoyed and the impact I could have.
I spent the following years continuing to build my knowledge in the accounting industry until moving to QLD in 2025.
Fast forward to today, I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and I'm now a Registered BAS Agent supporting small businesses across Australia. This has been 10 years in the making, and it's only just beginning.
